Tanabe TASK

Tanabe TASK is a packaged, oil-injected rotary screw compressor (male and female rotors) in a soundproof box, used on board for service and working air. Oil cools, lubricates and seals the screw end; an oil separator element cleans the delivered air and an integrated aluminium oil cooler / after-cooler is cooled by a fan. Capacity control is by automatic unload, unload stop and automatic start/stop from a pressure switch and unloader solenoid valve. The manual gives safety warnings, construction, oil and filter replacement, cooler cleaning, V-belts, lay-up, the periodical check chart and a troubleshooting table.

Proceduri de întreținere

Oil and oil filter change

  1. Stop the compressor, isolate power and check oil pressure reads 0 MPa. p. 27
    Pressure inside can eject oil
  2. Fit the short drain pipe to the separator oil outlet valve and drain the oil. p. 27
  3. Unscrew the old filter cartridge with a wrench; grease the new packing thinly and fit by hand. p. 29
  4. Fill fresh oil to the H line and run; check for leaks. p. 27

Suction filter cleaning

  1. Remove the top board of the package, the butterfly nut and cover. p. 31
  2. Pull out the element and blow it with air under 0.7 MPa from inside and outside. p. 31
  3. Check for damage and refit with the wider flange downwards; replace every 2000 h. p. 31

Lay-up and restart

  1. Before lay-up renew the oil, run about 1 hour, drain the separator, close the outlet valve, cover motor, panel and filter; cut power. p. 33
  2. Before restart remove covers, check motor insulation is over 1 MΩ, drain the separator and start normally. p. 33
